conspiracy theories please

Ok, there is no way this team is this bad! It is not possible for these guys to slump this bad at this time of year. There has to be an explanation. I know everyone says no way a professional athlete would throw a game but there has to be some strategy at work here. Fear of the Red Wings, trying to practice coming back from behind, lul the other teams into a false sense of security, lower expectations, or maybe just don't want the pressure of being a high seed, hell they could be pod people. Give me some hope please the duct tape I used to keep the sky from falling is starting to give way.

The sharks are playing fine, just give it some time and the points will come. If anything, it's a blessing in disguise...this team needed a gut check anyway.

they finally got sick of Brodie Brazil's inane questions and said to CSN "**** it, we're just going to tank and screw up your ratings until you bring back Kate and/or Jaymee."

That's a good one,

My theory, Joe Thornton started baking his pot brownies for the team and they are all addicted to them now

Agreed. Rather we slump now and pick up some steel, determination and will to win before the playoffs than get found out in the first round again. Sometmes I think this team thinks it's owed a win.

I'm all for the streak continuing for a bit if it pulls them together at the right time with the right attitude.

Ron wilson has a double agent in the locker room and has started spiking the kool-aid again

Every Sharks player has gone to Doug Wilson behind closed doors and requested a trade. They feel Dany Heatley is diminishing their roles.

Edmonton has an offer in to swap teams. (s3)

well.... My theory is the sharks are unstoppable when given time and space to make a play, but when pressured they turn thier backs and grind on the boards. most of them are good grinders but grinding keeps them from making shots and their passes off the boards are like 50/50 shot of getting to their own players.

USA played the same way against Canada in the Olympics keeping them from throughly dominating.

I suppose ever superhero has a kryptonite.....

Its because of the weather. The Sharks are really into gardening. And they cannot get there minds off all the pretty little flowers they planted...

Hm. Ron Wilson leaves, Rob Blake shows up. I think it's pretty clear who the double agent is.

I like to hope they are practicing coming back from behind and playing in clutch situations(trying to get a couple goals in the last 10 min) but probably not. The way things are going why don't the give nabby a week off and send him to hawaii and let greiss show what he can do if given multiple starts.

who even cares I have sort of checked out for the Sharks regular season it just needs to be mid april,as we've seen in the past regular season play usually doesnt carry into the playoffs. this is now the time of the season where its actually exciting to watch other teams play because im usually all Sharks. They need to win a couple games in the next 11 to for sure make the playoffs and I could care less about the seeding as home ice advantage sure hasnt helped them in the past, but avoiding the Nucks and Wings would be nice.

I heard there is turmoil in the locker room because Todd McLellan and Brad Staubitz are having an affair and it hurt Thornton's feelings.

It's always nice to be playing well heading into the playoffs, but the 2 years before last, if I remember correctly, we were red hot heading into them. We all know the outcome of those years. Last year played bad heading in, same story.

It's all about the top guys, now we have great 3rd & 4th line grinder guys who bust their ass. The top guys need to take note.

It's all Tmac's master plan. He's looking for the underdog role. He doesn't want to be the favorite to win by everyone and he can tell Joe Sports Writers have been saying things about his mama.

It's all laid out on this 3 point plan

1. Lose last 10 games
2.???
3. Stanley Cup

Shelley, on his way out, went insane and attempted a coup. It failed but all the players are now scared that someone on the team might turn on them again....

Sharks are luring the rest of the league into a false sense of security. Come playoffs, the Sharks will be out of the top 3 and everyone will think they'll be an easy sweep in the playoffs...

And then the Sharks will turn it on. *nod*

Maybe it's just the gnomes invading the locker room?
