I think it was Moreau's out-of-character in front of the opposition net cross check that made that Pisani goal possible. What a champ our captain.

Lucky it was a goal and not a penalty.

I don't mind a few wins at home as they'll lose the rest on the road anyway. Their road record has been just abysmal this season.

crazy thing is...9 straight wins we are probably still last place...leafs would only need 3 wins in the next 10 to still be ahead of us...and they are playing great...assuming florida. nyi or tampa doesn't lose 12 in a row we'd still be last

Stop it, this team needs some wins to get some confidence, it's enough of the losing already, that's no good for anybody..... Who exactly are we going to catch in the standings?

Nabokov has to be the most over-rated goalie of recent years. Of course, now that I say that watch him go on to win the Conn Smythe.

Go for the jugular. Put the Sharks away tonight, and let's get some victories to build up some morale for some of our young guys before the season is out.

ha ha...he is a little tool. I love how the players just laugh at him at times. Oh well it's fun to have someone like that around every now and then.

wow Heatley... When you can't even exploit Strudwick by going to the outside, you really are a horrific skater

Unfortunately at the time the people of Winnipeg didn't think so.

But i dont understand how anyone can like him? He makes the worst "jokes" known to man to the point where he deserves to be beaten repeatedly in the head with a hockey stick... maybe that would knock some sense into him?

No.

But yes... sorta. He's a crappy Captain. Lack of leadership seems to be the problem right now.

I'd like to see Dubnyk get a win again. but after that... We need last locked up.

It's the Oilers, the Oilers. You can never be too careful.

The Sharks should have traded for our captain at the deadline.

He's a bottomless well of leadership.

Sounds familiar to what Oilers fans say about Moreau.

Two Oilers milestones tonight. Penner's #100 goal and Gilbert's #100 point when he assisted on Pisani's goal.

Selanne also scored his 600th goal tonight. He's always been a classy guy, so I tip my hat to this impressive milestone.

Sharks are really crapping the bed tonight. Have they started their choke routine a month early?
