I'm one of the biggest Eric Staal supporters you'll find, but his floating around makes me want to stick a fork in my ****ing eye. If he's hurt, he needs to sit. If he's still having a tough time getting back into the groove after the Olympics, well, then he should still just ****ing sit because his play is 100% complete ****ing garbage. This half ass effort floating ******** in the offensive zone both 5-on-5 and on the PP is pathetic. A complete lackluster effort. Either sit if your injured or simply get your head out of your ass. I have watched Eric since he was 15, love the guy and have too many customized Staal jerseys to count, but calling a spade a spade here, his play is complete garbage.

End.Of.Rant.

I just saw some wheels rolling westbound down I-40. Anyone seen our season broke down along I-40?

Divide his season in thirds... He's had two of the worst thirds I've seen from a star center and one extremely good third that will make his stats not look atrocious on his career stat line... He has frustrated the HELL out of me

Combined that with Whitney skating around endlessly and doing nothing, Ruutu is the only one on that line worth a damn right now.

Someone should do a damn biopsy on Staal's hands to make sure they are actually made of skin and not some rock compound.

Again, Peters lost them a game. He's a damn trampolinist. Also, I am really sick of that 'this town' song. I hate those song montages anyway, but come on, pick a different song every once in a while.

McBain is 5th highest in the NHL in PPG. I wouldn't trade him for anything short of Ovechkin, Crosby or Grant Clitsome.

With Boston's win and our loss, it's fair to say any playoff hopes are officially gone. Don't have the net minding, scoring or defense. Well, I guess it's kinda good that way. We'll get our draft pick and now I can fully get behind the Rats for their playoff run.

Well we've lost three straight, the players up with the Canes are really starting to be missed - we don't have a goalie who can steal a game right now, and our best puck moving defenceman is Jonathan Paiement

On the up side, Jiri Tlusty was back today.

All I have to say is I hate Buffalo, team and fans. Can't wait for them all to leave and go back to that sh!thole they call Buffalo.

Good for McBain extending his point streak. That's about all I can say for this game.

The sad thing is most if not all of them live here. The Hurricanes would have no problem selling out every game if all the different team's fans that live here would just convert to their local team. Without a doubt.

I wouldn't want to share a common cause with the human garbage that infests the RBC when the Sabres come to town.

That. And since all they can say is how great Buffalo is and how Raleigh is nothing but a bunch of Redneck hicks, they need to go on back to that sh!thole that is Buffalo. Quit moving here. Their a$$es are here for alot of reasons and it ain't because Buffalo is so damn great.
