It was a nice game.

They've looked much better at moving pucks around since the Trade Deadline.

I hope they sign Aaron Johnson. Might be able to keep a guy who probably wants a shot at meaningful ice-time.

Johnson is definitely a keeper. What a trade by Tambo

now that they're (almost) guaranteed last place...it's nice to be able to cheer for them to win once again

Nabby is awful

I'm liking Aaron Johnson as well, he seems like he'll make, at the very least, a good transitional veteran.

This was a dominating win, really impressive from this team. Maybe this is them trying to shake off that "Loser Mentality"

Strong game by pretty much all the Oil--good team effort. Dubynk was very good; too bad about the late goal to ruin the shut out. He'll still build more confidence from this for sure.

And you're welcome, Phoenix.

I like him, too. Good bottom pairing 5/6 guy who's very solid all around. Can play 4th D minutes if needed without embarassing himself. Hope we can sign him to a favorable deal.

Lurking CP, its a slight consensus that Johnson is a good guy and that he was being wasted sitting in the pressbox.

Good to see him do well. Hopefully Tambo re-signs him to a decent and fair contract.

I have a feeling that Johnson would take a contract and play solidly for the Oil next year.

Happy to oblige. I didn't know that 2 career wins was enough to anoint him the next Brodeur.

This team really needs to build up its depth on the blue line, and signing Johnson would certainly help that cause. They also need to sign another top 4 guy, but that's another story.

You know the guy you seem to love, Craig Anderson, started his career much worse then Dubnyk has so far, right?
