*STARTING GOALTENDERS*

Game notes:
Ottawa;
-We need a win, 5 losts in a row hurt at this time of the season.
-Our number 1 starts
-Alfie loves playing the habs, maybe it'll fire him up.
-Kovalev too, couldn't hurt him to get one or two goals against his former team, or a point in anycase.
-Forechecking has to be tough tonight.
-Penalty Kill has to be at its best against this high ranked powerplay

Montreal;
-Return of Cammalleri, lots of energy will be there.
-Powerplay is scary
-Damn that Cammalleri
-Lose to Ottawa

Injuries:

Ottawa;
Milan Michalek: Doesn't look like he'll play, Left leg, Doubtful
__________________________
Montreal;
Paul Mara:
Out for season, left shoulder surgery
Mike Cammalleri: Expected to return/play, right MCL
Marc-Andre Bergeron: Expected to return/play, knee
Olivier Fortier: out indefinitely, shoulder surgery

Predictions; Ottawa comes out strong right off the bat and scores 2 quick goals in the first period. Game finishes with Ottawa over Montreal by 2 goals. If Montreal win, it's by 1. Ottawa will make this a hard game for the habs.

MUST WIN!! Will feel like a playoff game. The Habs have been fire lately and the Sens are going to have to be very sharp. They gotta be pretty disgusted with themselves right? They're gonna be pumped and ready to go to face the Habs right?

Don't know what the hell to say about this team anymore, but I full expect them to get it together the next two nights and put the last two weeks of a nightmare behind them.

wouldn't it be great if they played with desperation.......y'know, the kind that represents a team on a sizeable losing skid?

Every team always has that "get up" game which they raise their game a few levels. For the Sens, that is not the Leafs as we obviously saw and it's certainly not the Thrashers or Stars.....it is the Habs, Sabres and somewhat the Flyers. Going to be an intense week but their guys in the room (Alfie, Phillips, Fisher, Spezza) who have alot of pride and there's no way they take one on the chin against the Habs.

Just when you have something start to slip away...THAT is when you start to do something about it.

Wouldn't go that far, but the whole week the season is on the line. With games against the Habs, Flyers and Sabres the Sens gotta take two of them if not all of them. The division seems hopeless now so dropping one to Buffalo wouldn't be too devastating but allowing a team RIGHT behind you to take two points would really sting.

Sens get back on track with a 4-1 win. The haters shut up and rational hockey talks ensues for about 5 minutes following the win.

Smith and Fisher Snipe....

The haters will be silenced for one night and the Sens will be breathing a little easier. Than they gotta do it all over again on Tuesday.

Gut check time Sens!

Really wanna see a win...this is getting ridiculous. The Sens are probably the most streaky team in the league, and it's really screwing with the fans. I don't wanna see the Habs winning streak getting any larger.

Huge game, not sure what to expect.

I hope Smith has a good game, I'm sure he will.

So... Cammalleri should be back for Montreal tomorrow. Just giving that info for when you update your GDT.

We need to win this game, we need it badly, especially with Atlanta creeping up on Boston.

...but if things don't go our way what do you guys think the over/under is on goals before Clouston pulls Elliot.

I'm saying 7.

The Habs are rolling and peaking at the right time. They are playing high intensity hockey every game and it's just clicking for them right now. Getting back Cammalleri will be huge for them. With that said, we need to beat them and get some momentum back. Alot of teams probably look at the standings and when they say Ottawa they say that's the team to catch cause of the piss poor play the last three weeks.

This is a statement game.

I think I've made reference to this game on here a while back, but remember the year we went on the cup run? well we were havin a so-so season and we played buffalo, just barely won a wild game and it marked the turnaround point for that season

I really have a feeling that the boys are gonna get back on track tomorrow just like back then. Cant wait to have smith's energy in the lineup, hopefully he can help us get things going
