Agreed. I can't remember them being all that good together. They've been OK at times but not consistent. But now that they aren't together I guess its time to glorify them

Senators are going to win this one.
Going all in with v-money.
They played a promising game against the Stars and will carry that over against Montreal.
Ottawa has been blessed to still be in 5th right now with all that has happened, and they will turn things around against the Habs and take back control of things!
Let's go Sens!

Per Ottawa Sun - Shannon out, Smith in. No Kuba, and Michalek injury may be worse than expected

Well, I've read the morning papers, and the various articles about the Sens. I see a lot of denial and scapegoating. A team brimming with platitudes, not confidence.

Meanwhile, the Habs are hot.

My prediction.

4-1 Montreal. I'm a Sens fan, but also a realist.

Let's hope that the Sens prove me completely wrong.

Sometimes I wonder about him. Not fair for me to say, but I get the impression from him that he won't play unless he feels 100%. If he gets any sort of injury it seems like he takes time off where as most guys would play through the minor stuff.

Wasnt he probable for last Tuesday? Wasnt he penciled in for Saturday?

I dont think its the first time this season his return date gets pushed back a couple times.

Kinda annoying yeah.

I see we have ourselves another epic debate about the ever so valuable 2nd round pick... If only we had like 2 of those this team would really turn it around.

4 picks in the top 80 would of gone a long way to restocking our prospect depth.

I just think you're making too much out of these two 2nd round picks.

The Sens need to turn things around, but its not like they traded their entire future away.

Was Kuba out when we lost five straight in January?

He missed the last 2 games of the losing streak and the first 2 games of the winning streak.

Good point. These are all things that come with making the playoffs and going on a run.

This city has only had 2 playoff games in the last 2 years. Playoffs = Huge revenue.

The right message?

Messing with chemistry on a winning streak is not usually a good thing.

I've never heard of a GM making a trade to send a message because of a winning streak, and I don't believe that's what occured.

According to TSN, Cammalleri and Bergeron are NOT going to play tonight as they'll be visiting a doctor and hope to come back against Buffalo.
