Good for Dubnyk and terrifically amused by the epic suck from the Sharks.

You forgot one BB

Good read on Eberle with some quotes from Daum

I liked this one
Quote:
"I was a little disappointed he took as long as he did to score his first goal. Thought he'd do it quicker than a minute. But he's young," joked Daum.

We are comfortably in last place. Nice to see this team put together some wins and make a team like Detroit work their ***** off to make playoffs. About time that Dubnyk finds those first couple of wins. I honestly beleive that he will be a better goalie than JDD in the long run. I think JDD will be a career back-up while Dubnyk still has a potential starter in him.

Hemsky is a warrior and I'm sure he knows what is good for his body. He loves the game and I don't see a problem with him getting a couple of games in at the end of the season if he can handle palying at NHL speed. If he can return and we call up Eberle to play with him, that would be a nice little treat for the STH's who have gotten fleeced for the past 4 years.

edit: Missing the olympics, I can see every reason in the world why Hemsky would want to play at the Worlds.

Makes the most sense that he would get the call ahead of Plante or Motin.

Sorry to hear about your father Guy. Your father sounded like an incredible man and the story you've written about him was amazing. Its never easy to lose a loved one especially a father you looked-up to despite rebelling against him in your teen years where you quit playing hockey. Thats normal for a teen boy and I did the exact same thing.

Good luck in life and I wish you the best!

Sorry it doesn't come off that way, but that is what I meant. Since Plante is injured it makes sense they would call Arsene ahead of Motin. Not that it matters I suppose at this point.

Couple Quinn quotes from Tencer

Quinn on Comrie KO'ing Nichol last night: "If the little pepper pot on the other side is mouthing off, you might as well fill him in."

A few moments later Quinn was talking about the rest of the year and used the phrase "if we run the table." He then added: "Don't snicker."

I laughed at one and I still don't know what a pepper pot is. Is he talking about a black pot or is there such a thing as a pepper pot.
