I joined one clan on Killzone 2, which lead another clan to wanting me. Needless to say, this clan has about 5-6 girls in out out of 15, or so players. One girl is better at Killzone than me and I'm not a slug at it. So girls do play on the nets. There was also a featured clan on gamebattles that was an all girl clan. Plus the clan that uses the tag "girl", or variations of it. Cod guys use it, but Killzone (which has a very good system for clans) you can tell it's just girls.
Anyone who's played Halo 2 may have ran into PMS clan members. They were/are(?) an all girl clan. I ran into them a couple of times, once we beat them and the second time I was playing alone and god was it irritating to lose to a girl who constantly kept yelling all the usual "n00b", "pwned" etc. lingo. Apparently they have a European section, one (former) friend of mine was invited to join (she didn't).

Case in point, you may have heard about that woman that wants to set the record for fattest woman alive or something? Apparently she makes money on the side by running a website where men pay to watch her eat junk food. Not even kidding.
That something like this exists doesn't surprise me in the least.
You can just play WoW and get tons of esluts for $15 a month. They'll even fly out to you and **** you for free. All you have to do is promise them loot.
This is like low-level prostitution, men are paying women for "fun". Granted this "fun" doesn't include physical inter-action, it's still "fun" nonetheless.

It's sad for guys to need to use this service, but fact is the market is probably out there, and at least they're making the attempt to socialize with the opposite sex and may take the experience to actually get somewhere in the real world. If you look at the alternative, we could turn into Japan where people become so detached from reality that they turn to fantasy and start dating their pillows. Also, damn that's an awesome way for chicks to make money online, as the only other option involves pornography, so good for them.
If you want another similar example, I know of a 'school' in Vancouver that this one guy runs where he teaches guys how to interact with women, then hires actresses for the students to have a playdate with at a neutral ground like a coffee shop. The guy charges something like $2000 for tuition and does quite well for himself.

At least they are making attempts to be social and come out of their shells with real life situations and not behind a TV screen. These dorks using this service are paying 8 bucks for 10 minutes to play Battleship with a girl. How are they going to use that in the real world? Bring a battleship game alone with them to a coffee shop and ask girls if they want to play a game

That sound almost EXACTLY like an episode of CSI I once watched.
When Halo first came out for PC I played with tons of girls. There were some girls who were better then 99% of the other players. WoW has tons of girls, I remember playing with like 3 girls in a clan for Unreal tournament. This isn't going to survive. Boys don't have money to pay for girls to play with them. Other then boys, most guys will probably feel pathetic using these types of services. I can imagine maybe a very small amount of gamers might take advantage of this service but will it be enough for them to stay afloat? I don't think so.
