IMO we have to look at it as a work in progress... If they were to play today they couldn't as they are set up under the Cap and with the roster. To me that proves that they are not done. There is a plan there, we just don't know it... nor should anyone but the inside people know it.
... On the bright side, as I understand it the Pens still have to give us their third round pick even though they did not sign Hamuis... so Homer flipped a seventh rounder for a third rounder... and Got that third for a player that was probably never going to become a good D-man in the organization... and one that may be troubled with a bad back his entire career. Homer improved the D depth greatly and that is an off-season plus for Homer and the Flyers, IMO. A big plus in fact.
