That's well said and what's most concerning. The Ducks also were red hot at the same time the Sharks were cold, and when the two finally met in the playoffs the Sharks were still deep in a slide they ultimately could not reverse. The Ducks to their credit did their homework too. The hardest thing for me is just knowing you are watching a team that is a heck of a lot better than they are showing. However, all teams slump at some point. This is proof that it's not just the slump but also the timing of it...
