If I remember correctly, we haven't scored a single PP goal in three games. Nobody's done crap on the PP lately.

And with how terrible our defense has been all post-break, I have no problem with the revolving doors for our defense right now.

"Coach Sacco said he wants Salei’s size and strength against a Kings team he says has a lot of “heavy” forwards."

I don't disagree with Sacco's reasoning. I just wish we would put Cummer on the PP instead of Clark.

This D shuffling is pissing me off. He seems to make some very very questionable decisions on who to sit.

Our PP needs Liles, can't he see that? ****.

Assume that Liles isn't playing tonight since he was the only one bag-skated at game day practice.....

Hopefully Quincey, can keep playing the way he has the last couple of games. Also please let Liles be in the line up.

Already confirmed that Liles is out again. According to Dater, Sacco wants Salei's size and strength against the Kings "heavy" forwards

So he can make up for that penalty in OT.

I think the revolving door is making our already bad defense even more pathetic. Defense needs chemistry even more so than forwards. Sacco is making a mistake if he thinks we can constantly shift our defensive pairings and expect success.

Because he's better in his own end than Liles? At this point, the ONLY reason to have Liles in the lineup is the PP. This team needs Salei's size, and despite not having his best game last game, at least he has the balls to play a physical game, something that can't be said for the other 5 D that are dressed.

Does it really make THAT big of a difference if a single defenseman(yes, it's one defensive spot, the other 5 have been a constant)is changed often? If it's that big a deal for the #6 to change, then there's more issues than Sacco's decisions and the actual players playing like crap.

Just my 2˘, but I disagree completely with this. These are professional hockey players, they should know what to do and where to be at all times. I'll give you that the first couple weeks of a new teammate takes some adjustment, but most of our D core, excluding Wilson, have been together for a couple years. They should all know each other very well, and be able to perform with each other.

Our problem is we have EIGHT mid and bottom paring guys, and asking any of them to play top minutes, in top situations isn't fair for them. If we had just one top paring guy back there it would relieve a lot of tension on our blueline.

It is a big deal if the guy getting revolved in that door plays on our number 1 PP, the only thing that kept us in a lot of the recent games.

I think that on the other side if the defensemen know that nobody's safe, that it's constantly changing, maybe they'll get their act together and actually play.

Not by much if at all really. Also Foote and Hannan are the avs most physical d man and they dont cause penalties.

Im glad im not the only one who loves watching Quincey flop all over the ice, loose coverage down low, try to clear pucks through the oppositions leg and has zero offensive awareness....oh wait.
