Not to be a downer, but I think we're past the "must win" games. This is about showing some sack, even though it doesn't matter in the big picture.

Dang, I was hoping Polak would be ready to go by now. Oh well, the dude deserves some time to heal.
If this year's team has shown us one thing, it's that these road games are VERY winnable for them. It's time to see what these guys are really made of...if we haven't already.

One more loss, and then I'd say you're right. But I still think if we win every single game remaining in the regular season, we could make it in.

I'd say it's kind of like being in ten game 7 scenarios. Every game left in the regular season is a must win, and if they lose just one, I think they're out.

The least we could do is help Calgary out a bit.

Agreed. If they win in regulation tonight and then win tomorrow they are still only 4 points out of 8th with Detroit having a game in hand and not playing til Friday. The Blues need to win in regulation tonight and then take the next 2 at home, and Detroit needs to lose 3 in a row. Not too mention Calgary, though they have a tough schedule. It'll take a festivus miracle.

Math rules our season, until math tells me we have no chance I am going to pull for the Blues.

It's nice that Kariya's hands have caught up with his legs. It would have been even nicer had it happened sooner this season.

On the power play with 3 Red Wing defenders out of position and EJ still gets his shot blocked by the lone defender....that's pathetic. At the very least he could've passed the puck down low to the open Blues forward. I'm starting to question EJ's intelligence a bit. For him to to become the true #1 he was drafted to be, he has to get smarted with the puck next year.

I'm glad Conklin got to play the puck on that goal when Bertuzzi had his stick under his arm and interfered with him the whole time. What's new though? Woeful PP. Awful.

Nice shot by McClement ties it up, 2-2. His 10th. I think The Blues have more goal scorers in double figures than all but one NHL team.

Nice to know Detroit is still the luckiest team in pro sports. All 3 of their goals were pure trash. What a bummer of a season.

DONE!! Get the golf clubs out and Cards T-shirts!

That was horribal second half of the game. In the 2nd period we had 2 shots on a 4 min powerplay (1 shot was a good scoring chance)!

Then the third period! wow! It seemed like McClement, Oshie, and Backes vs. the Entire Red Wings!

that was an embarrasing goal and it seemed to really put the Blues down-need to keep pushing! Then the final minute goalie pulled and we're dumping and not chasing... and some of the slowest breakouts as the seconds tick away, GET IN THE ZONE!!

So now that the season is basically done, is it possible to get a top 10 pick?

As The Valentinos once said: "It's All Over Now".

Back to the drawing board, eh? JD & Co. have work to do and tough decisions to make.

screw that, not enough time man. Just chopblock him!

ok, now I'll toss in the towel. this team went without a whimper. sad really. Top 10 pick would require a serious tank though.

Yeah this game was our last hope.

As far as top ten pick goes, we would have to fall below Anaheim and Minnesota who currently have one less point than us.
