Well, he's not a burner, but he has quite good lateral mobility and agility for his size.

Yeah. He seems to run around a bit in the defensive zone, so he needs to work on that as well.

I think he's pretty quick actually. His stride is huge and makes him get around very efficiently. His getting up and down the ice with relative ease. I'm stoked to see what this guy could do with and extra 30 lbs or so of muscle mass.

#12. I'm very impressed with this guy. Great wheels for a guy who's 6'5.

PW with a goo PK. He's using his reach to his advantage and being physical when guys are down low. Nice to see.

NICE move by PW to walk down the right wall and unleash a wrister offthe face off. I love it when D men to that. Its interesting that he's playing the right side. Perfect candidate to be mentored by Phillips

If anyone has a feed for the Louie's Michigan game I'd be interested to watch that and give updates.

John Lee doesn't look like a defensive defenseman to me. Jumped into the play a few times, and he already has a better shot than his brother.

I'm going to sound like a total homer right here but every time PW is on the ice things happen for the pioneers. He jumps up in the rush all the time and is creating a ton of offense. Its great to see. He gets back and covers the point quickly so there's never numbers going the other way.

His partner jumped up in the play in one sequence and PW was tested on a 2 on 1 where he broke it up nicely. He's very good with his stick.

He's also winning all the battles down low in the defensive zone on the rare occasion that the Pioneers are there when PW and the big line is on the ice.

This RIT goalie, McMichael, is standing on his head right now for RIT.

Silfverberg scored today (5gp 1g 1a) but Brynas lost and now they're done for the year.

From the little Ive seen, Weircioch has some pretty nice potential especially if he grows to around 215-220. His skating is supposedly a weakness but hes pretty smooth out there.

Weircioch and Karlsson will make our powerplay very respectable in time.

Barry Melrose likes him so that settles it. Barry Melrose is obviously the greatest evaluator of talent ever.

Wow, beautiful break out there from PW.

Man that was a beautiful move by Weircioch. Too bad he was too tall to do anything once he got in close to the net.

Showing off some skill down low as well. First time Ive watched at all, really like this guy. Wouldnt be shocked if he got to the Sens faster than Cowen. He would have been very good for Canada at the WJC had he been healthy.

Wow!!! Wierciochs inside out / drive to the net move was amazing!!! From what ive read on USCHO.com, is that when Wiercioch goes, so does Denver. So hopefully they can hurry up and get the tieing goal.

That Jesse Martin kid is having a rough afternoon. He's missed the net on some glorious chances and now he gets called for a clean hit ala Sutton.

Yeah I expect if Denver ties it up he'll likely be on the ice. I agree things seem to happen when hes there. It looks pretty evident why hes one of the best in college hockey. Long shifts...

RIT scores a nice goal on a bullocks call. This is a huge upset. They should have had PW out on that PK.

Big Joe Colbourne scores. PW will get an assist I believe.

RIT is overplaying PW on the PP a lot. They seem willing to play 4-on-3 on the rest of the team just to take away Weircioch's shot.

Secondary assist from Weircioch. Lots of pressure on that powerplay. Its gonna be Karlsson to Weircioch for the one time for many years in Ottawa...

That's going to be a fantastic powerplay tandem. I can't wait. PW will play at the top of the umbrella and Karlsson can be the rover.

I really admire RIT for playing an aggressive forecheck while protecting a lead like this. Maybe its just a common tactic due to the bigger ice surface but I wish we saw that in the NHL more.
