All McBain has to do next season to be in consideration for the Calder is be half as productive as he's been so far this year.

Who am I kidding though? He could probably put up Green type numbers and still get passed over for a team in a bigger market or for another hyped prospect.

I love the reaction of K-Stop there.

Ref is announcing the penalty: Carolina number 28, 2 minutes for hooking.

As soon as he said 28, they showed K-Stop with just an evil glare.

Did Dwyer just dive a bit after the whistle?

Yeah. Earlier this month someone accused me of being a fairweather fan because I don't post after a loss.

...but I'm so depressed I stay away from the boards, TV highlights, everything.

I took a week off work when the Whalers lost game 7 in overtime. Curse you Claude Lemieux!

That was a lucky call. Wasn't so much interference as finishing a check.

Stillman and Semin need to be on the same team. That's 4 easy wins against Carolina.

Ward seems to have a bit of a Forslund-esque personality.

Harrison's going to take a penalty soon. He's came close to cross-checking two Caps in the face already.

EDIT: Of course, Cole could beat him to the punch.
