What's New Nabokov? What about your 50th Shut out?
(I'm new here and I posted this in the "National Hockey League Talk", and it was like I got off the bus in a "bad neighborhood". I hope this gets post gets a better response here--GO SHARKS!)
Nabby is the 25th goalie to record his 50th Shut-out (tied 24th w/ Chris Osgood). GO NABBY!
After the Olympic break, Nabby had a new mask created and shortly afterward the losing streak started. He started wearing his old mask again during the Calgary game. Anyway here's the story about his short lived "Poseidon" mask. Yes, as in the S.S. Poseidon of the famous "Poseidon Adventure", you know the movie about the ship that capsizes?
I also included a parody that I did of Burt Bacharach's "What's New *****cat?", called "What's New Nabokov?".
Timing here is everything and this may have been a good spot for it, considering what happened the last time these two teams had met prior to tonight. Nabby has now just given up one goal in the last six periods of play. You want Nabby to get confident and get hot at the right time, along with the rest of the Sharks. Congrats to Nabby on #50, and I hope to see a few more. If they come in the playoffs, that's even better...

Helpful hint: Just don't start a thread on the Sharks on the board. It's just asking for Shark hate, regardless what the topic is.
people are vultures on this forum in the national hockey league talk. anything that isnt about how ovechkin is jesus, or zach parise,or vancouver or montreal, is basically not allowed
basically everyone is over sensitive to the max there(the main nhl talk), and any topic about the sharks that isnt talking about us being chokers, is also void. You must also overreact to everything involving pun or satire, and not understand sarcasm
Also dont wander into an nhl team forum like the thrashers and post "place looks packed" when it clearly isnt, or you will recieve 24 hour posting rights suspension because Fans are sensitive about attendance
I need to get new eyes. For a considerable amount of seconds I thought you had Corey Perry photoshopped to Sharks jersey on your avatar and was like, wtf.
