Clutterbuck loses his cool - two minutes for roughing and a 5x3 opportunity for Detroit. God I love this game!

Sadly, while the Wings brought in their C-squad for this opportunity they still look better than the Wild's power play tonight.

Green light!
DETROIT 6
MINNESOTA 2
FINAL

That's probably only because our 3rd string PP actually had to play earlier in the year when they were all injured.

Back home after a fun day of work to see the Wild got whooped up on by the Wings, way to go Gopher keeping the tradition going!

Well, I wonder how hurt Hards is, he looked terrible on that Datsyuk goal. Holmstrom's tip was SICK! I haven't seen a tip like that in a while. How was Wellman tonight? Did he play most of the night between Lats and Havlat? Whole team was probably off tonight, well, that pretty much seals it even though we aren't technically out of it mathematically. (It was pretty much sold a while ago)

Answers (in order):
-See thread/Russo blog
-It really was and it's why Holmstrom is one of the best down by the net.
-Wellman had his worst game in my opinion.
-He did, although all the penalties cut down on his time as Richards doesn't trust Casey on the PK.

Yeah I just read Russo's blog, sorry, I should have went there first.

That's too bad Wellman had a bad game, but I think he'll be alright. Give him some more time to get used to the NHL game and I think he'll be scoring and getting more time on the PK and PP. I read Russo's tweet that he was on the PP tonight, but it seemed to be a bad game overall.

Yeah he and Franzen remind me of the other, both super talented. Detroit is going to be a good team in the playoffs, really strong 7 or 8 seed.
