NY called a timeout and then scored almost immediately and that was that.
Earlier this season, RPI was down three or four to Princeton early in the third and pulled the goalie for two entire power plays to play 6 on 4. Unfortunately it didn't help and we lost 7-0, if my memory serves. Talk about a waste of a four hour drive for me.

Hes really bad... like very. Saw him the other night for the phantoms. Let in 5 goals on like 20 shots.

Id rather them sign Hutton and bring him up.

It's so hard to watch my favourite sports team play like this. Words just can't describe. Frustrating as hell.

But forever, LETS GO FLYERS! Here's to hoping they turn it around big time starting tomorrow night...

Rangers fall apart vs. the Leafs, worse than we did vs. the Wild. They still get a point. They had Jody Shelley on the ice with 3 minutes left in a tie game.

Thrashers win 4-0

It is refereeing like today's game that keeps the NHL from being a premiere league in America. If the NHL was serious, there would be some tough consequences for these guys. I had two friends over to watch the game. Both of them think Hockey is a joke sport. I thought watching a game with them would help bring them over. Well, they pulled me closer to their side!!

It's games like this that really make you wish you didn't give 2 ***** about hockey. The NHL is by far the worst. Hell, the NBA had refs betting on games, and the officiating is still better. And people wonder why the NHL isn't a mainstream sport? It's because we got clowns running the show.

I'm not saying we deserved to win today, all I'm saying is when is it our turn to catch a break? The correct answer is never, as long as this biased officiating continues. I can't count on one hand how many disallowed goals and phantom penalities we've had against the penguins this year.

If we make the playoffs its between Boucher, Duchene, and Teslak. At least until Backlund is back. Hutton wouldn't be eligible.

Ok I'm confused here since this is like the 50th time you mentioned betting against the Flyers in the playoffs... If you actually know a bookie or a betting service where the odds are amazing against the Flyers, please ****ing tell me. I mean do you seriously think you will make tons of money by walking up to your bookie and screaming "1K on the Caps!"? You'll probably be putting 1K down to win 10 bucks... I seriously doubt the Flyers will be the favorites and you'll be going wayyyy out there on some 50-1 Caps winning bets...

Hockey is not a joke sport. The NHL can be, too often, a joke League.

4. Fedetenko crosschecks in front.

Good **** refs. Good **** NHL. Good ****ing day.
We dont think your crazy

I understand how you feel ,,, That game was horrendous

But in West we all have to deal with the Red Wings getting away with murder (Interference , hooks , etc) so we are already used to Refs screwing our teams over

Pens fan here. I was at the game today and the officiating was sooo bad. The non call on fedotenko and the mystery call on hartnell for hitting sid. It often makes me wonder. If you guys get 8th seed just beat tghe hell out of washington.

Thanks. When I made this post I didn't know that Backlund got hurt, I just thought he got pulled after watching the highlights.

Briere, is having his worst season since the 2001-2002 season,
Hartnell comes back down to earth after a good season last year,
Carter and Richards have around a 20 point drop in points,
Gagne hurt early and never really bounces back.
That about sums it up.

Until you look at the blue line.

I'm ready to suggest that instead of playoff avatars we come up with draft avatars, cause at this rate this team is ****ed and not making the playoffs.

It can be draft picks we'd like to have . With the first round pick the flyers select the Easter Bunny.

That would take a top 42 pick, something the Flyers don't have.

If the flyers play the caps the caps will be a 2/1 favorite. The flyers for whatever reason get the respect of the bookmakers in vegas. I wouldnt even be shocked if the caps were even less than 2/1, then again they be -240. So not sure why you thinkt he caps will even be clsoe to 50-1. I will gladly put 10k down to win 5k. Evenif i lost i know that was the right move, what can you do?
