Parent-Coburn is a really poor pairing, surprised Lavi hasn't figured this out yet.

Bad refs and bad luck screws us :X
Well, let's make it better in the other two periods. Need to put the puck behind Fleury, who is having a very weak game so far.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Boucher start the 2nd. Looks like Backlund hurt himself on that tip shot. He's been flexing his leg since.

The Penguins 5th line always plays their best against the Flyers for some reason

Sadly Backlund was doing a pretty good job in the first. Little out of position here and there, but great vision (like really good), and reflexes. Also whoever said he was slow...dont know what game ur watching but he looks pretty fast to me.

I think Backlund is doing well for his first NHL game.

Refs give the Pens some questionable decisions? That's almost unbelievable.

Flyers 1 Refs 1 Penguins 0.

It'd be interesting to see this stat kept for every game - how many goals have been scored due to a bad call by the refs.

Was it just me or was the hook JVR had on Kennedy about 20% of the hook Kunitz had on somebody during the pp when they were trying to clear the zone?

Do I even need to bring up Gagne's "goal" from earlier in the season?

They actually haven't shown it on CSN either so it's not just FSN being crap.

It's getting to the point where Jeff Reese better get into game condition.

CSN didn't show it either as far as I could tell. Probably just didn't even happen.
