Would like to hear details as to why Arnott didn't play tonight, when supposedly he "could have" played two games ago.

Wife weighing in, again?

If his brain is mush right now, I want him sitting out.

As we walked down the stairs this chick in a Preds jersey was holding an octopus stuffed animal and repeatedly hit me with it all the way down the steps. I almost ripped it out of her hands.

I'm only minorly disappointed. No, we didn't win, but they couldn't beat us without an 11 round shoot out either.

Oh and **** Bertloser.

Honestly, I don't care. If there is any doubt in his mind that he suffered another concussion...even a mild one...I don't want him playing right now!!!

Best to err on the side of caution and make sure he is healthy and ready to go when he gets back...a player playing with any doubt in his mind is a player that's gonna get injured...

Head injuries suck! You can play through pain, you can splint broken bones, you can do all sorts of things for pulled muscles...head injuries make someone appear perfectly healthy, but it's not the case...memory loss, difficult processing series of information, etc do not show up except by those that are affected and those that spend a ton of time around someone on a daily basis...

Heck, since my seizure back in December I've battled through some issues with memory loss. The long-term stuff is basically all back in sequence, but I'm amazed from time to time when I can't remember a short grocery list or even a fast-food order just told to me when ordering...it's scary and what makes it even worse is that you just don't know when it's gonna affect you...

I'm finally coming back to Nashville on Easter weekend and will be back at the arena for the Fangtastic Finale, so I know how much it sucks being away from the rink, but honestly...I don't really want to see Arnott back until he is 100% and ready to go...

I think its Arnott being honest with himself and the team. He isnt 100% and there is truly no need for him to risk a setback that would cost him the playoffs.

Disappointed with the loss, but happy with the one point.

Our team passes up too many shots! Just put the puck on net and go get a rebound.

Played well, good defense, great goaltending. Just one shot short.

The only shootout attempt Weber took in an actual game was a few weeks ago when we lost 0-1 in a 10 round SO to Phoenix. So I was OK with him not going this time. But I would have tried Suter for sure.

I've seen ESPNews "highlights" of the game. Well, a few of the shootout tries is about all they show.

When Boyd skates in for his shootout try the ESPN guys says "Derek Meech with a chance to win it!" lol Meech, for Detroit, is also #14. He didn't participate in the shootout tries either.

You'd think since I first saw it last night at around 10:30 they'd have fixed it by now. but I just saw it again at 5:30a. Not a priority I guess, lol.

At this point it really feels like quite a large step. In Calgary's 7 remaining games they'd need to gain 5 wins over us to make it into the playoffs. Nashville essentially needs to go winless in the last 6 in order for Calgary to have any realistic shot at doing so, and with the way both teams have been playing lately... Nothing's set in stone, but it would take a miracle for Calgary.

You don't use artillery pieces up close in battle.

"Could have" played means he was just good enough to play BUT there was a higher risk of re-injury.

You don't mess around with concussions. take the time and make sure someone is healthy and at 100% for the playoffs.

what I thought was interesting was that our best chances came via moves-- Sullivan's goal, Goc's near goal(had he elevated and got the shot off a little quicker, he scores that one, and he knew it), and Hornqvist's complete miss. Yet, for some reason, time and time again, we had guys electing to forego a deke, and just try to crank a shot, usually either 5-hole(which Howard was showing and then taking away) or high glove side. I would think it shouldn't take 11 rounds to figure out what *isn't* working..
