hope torres is back so we can get stafford the **** out of the lineup. ive NEVER seen a forward at 6'2" be so god damn afraid of being touched in the offensive zone. derek ****ing roy puts up a better fight for a puck. him spinning away in the offensive zone on top of tallinder's patented one handed body check make me absolutely bonkers

I can't imagine the forwards will be as piss-poor working for the puck as they were yesterday. However, I can see them trying to prove something to the fans by making stupid high-risk passes in the offensive zone, turning the puck over, and getting scored on. Add to that the fact that Lalime is probably starting, and we're losing this one as well. And Ottawa will probably decimate Florida tonite. Prepare to be in a pissy mood later tonite.

Nice job on the GDT

It's pretty hard to really even care about this one. It wouldn't shock me if we rolled over them 7-2 or something like that just to spite us.

I hope so, I have him on my fantasy team and it's the 1st week of playoffs

Can't believe I picked him up off of the FA list a few weeks into the season.

Big game tonight. Ottawa is going to rip Florida and looks to be on one of their patented winning streaks (as opposed to one of their patented losing streaks). If they can keep their lead at 5 pts with Boston, Florida and Toronto on the horizon, all of which are very winnable, they should be in good shape. These are the games you absolutely have to win if you're a contender.

That said, if Miller plays, Buffalo wins, 4-2. If Lalime plays, I expect a 4-3 OT loss.

I was nice and let my wife pick him up in the last round of our draft instead of taking him myself. I'm such a nice guy

Totally off the radar coming into this season; what a player he's going to be.

Is Lalime in? If he is, I'm on board with this prediction. Not sure if I'll be there or not. I'll be in Buffalo, but I think Liam might have pink eye.

"We got two injuries out of last night," coach Lindy Ruff said after a meeting this morning. "We’ve got Connolly [lower body] and Kaleta [upper body].

"Could be [long term]. I think Pat’s is longer than Tim’s. We have no timeframe on Tim’s yet. Tim’s is a carry-over from few games back."

I've been wanting to see Ennis up here for a long time now, but not at the expense of Timmy getting hurt, especially if it's long-term

It would also be nice to see Kaleta shake the injury bug; he's been getting banged up all year.

I hate hockey.

Hopefully Ennis makes his mark with the team, and *fingers crossed* Timmah is healthy for the playoffs. Would love to have both of them in lineup come April.

Any speculation on what Connolly's injury may be? I'm trying to think of anything from the past few games, but I'm coming up blank

Seems very likely. They need someone can can fill in as a top 6 center and sadly Tyler is their best option.

I think the fact that it's a center is the biggest reason Mancari wasn't called up... or at least I hope. Because he had a strong showing.

Hecht-Ennis-Pominville with Hecht taking over the center's responsibilities in the defensive zone?
