Weird skate tongue problem

Alright this is a weird one. I put some new laces in my skates, tied them up tight enough for myself, played for about 10 mins. For some reason the tongue on my right foot slides down about a inch or so and puts enough pressure on my toes to cause some pain and make them go numb. The skates are broken in and fit me properly to. Anyone have this happen before or have any ideas on how to fix this annoying problem?
