Tonight's feature film will be Atlanta@Carolina. Showtime at 7. Roger Ebert gave it 2 stars out of 4, claiming that while the production values are good, there's no urgency in the film. Nothing to draw the audience in.
The film stars Eric Staal, a young captain of a ice hockey team that's struggling to find their place in the world. To make matters worse, his team must face opponents fighting for their playoff lives. Cameo appearance by Cam Ward (as The Backup) and McBain.
And everyone grab your glasses, because tonight's game will be in 3D!
Erik Cole's speed, strength and just the simple fact that he has done so much for this franchise and is good with the fans... is the reason(s) why he drew that penalty. Erik Cole is an asset this team cannot afford to lose. Ever.
Poor Brandon Sutter. The kid does everything to the best he can, has taken tremendous strides this season, does so many things right... and he has to play on the PP with Cole and Samsonov. He must have a look of disgust right before he jumps over the boards on a PP. He'd be better off going out there by himself. It would likely be a more effective PP.
ok, Atlanta or Boston in the playoffs? I'd prefer to see Atlanta.
To be honest, I'd rather see Boston or even the Rangers. Best case scenario, I'd rather see Tampa but since they're only 1 point ahead of the Canes, I might as well relive that dream in that case. I just hate the city of Atlanta and every sports team there. I dislike the Bruins immensely, but I am a Red Sox/Celtics fan so it's the lesser of two evils, by a little.
