Only thing that tells me is Atlanta's crew doesn't know the names of NHL players. But that's not a new thing.

We need Florida and the Islanders to win tonight. Tampa continues to fall.

Ah, there's the positive I can take away from this game. Wesley's back on TV.

I have amazing powers to foretell the future... I also predict that since Tampa is obviously playing without a goalie tonight they are going to lose.

Well, Cullen just tied it up for the Sens.

What a shift by Boychuk, Bowman, Dwyer, McBain & Pitkanen. If there is a positive from this game (aside from losing, of course) it's that shift.

Jamie McBain makes things happen. Period. What impressed me most about him playing it down low on that shift was when he went around the net he skated right by Staal and felt no pressure in passing it back to him (just because its Eric Staal), he looked for the open man in the best position to score. In this case, LaRose. That shows great confidence in his own ability to make things happen at his pace. He doesn't have to send a quick pass to our top player even though he could have easily done so, no jitters in the offensive zone whatsoever. Pure confidence in his own ability.

The kids mind for the offensive game is just incredible to watch from such a young defenceman.

I really hope the coaching staff is working with McBain on his 2-on-1. He looks horrible in that regard and it looks like he doesn't know what to do with his stick, just sorta fiddles with it while looking lost in what exactly to do and jittery in the process.

3 goals behind and we pulled a goalie? Has this ever happened before?

The players only meeting before playing us has worked well for the Thrashers, maybe the remaining teams we play can follow suit and produce a similar outcome.

That's nonsense, stop it. These players are good people and they really do truly care.

Exactly. It's not a question of effort. They just really are that bad.

Shockingly they sucky kitties can't manage to at least get a point. Turd on them! At least they have two more games to play more than us.

After tonight's excellent performance for draft positioning we are now in 3rd place and only 3 points out of 2nd. That my friends is winning by losing!
