Visors

I recentley bought a new helmet that came with a full face visor. Its the first time I've ever used a visor, been using cages ever since I started hockey. The visor didn't fog up and actually remained clear my whole first game wearing it. I was wondering is their anything I have to do to keep it in good condition after games, like drying/cleaning/airing out?

If it is a good visor you might want to put the helmet into a pillow case or something of that material to keep it from scratching. If the visor does start to fog up one thing that you can do is use shampoo and put some on a towel and use it to "clean"/ defog the visor before you play. and if you want you can use the towel to dry the visor after the game.

I clean my visor with water only and dry it with a super soft cloth. I have no fogging issues because the visor is a good one with an antifog coating on the inside that you cannot use any chemicals on.

Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo, For. The. Win.

Fill up a bowl with hot water and some baby shampoo, throw in a wash cloth and then just wipe down the visor and you can actually wipe down the entire helmet like I do. It will keep the visor very clean, it works as an anti fog agent without all the pain of using one and it smells great. I swear by this stuff. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
