I thought the metro derailed off the tracks and I'd have no way of getting to school... damn.

Poor Metro, though. He was having a great year.

Wait, when did we clinch a playoff birth? Oh right, we haven't.

Now maybe Poulliot can get some consistent PP time.

Good, it needs a good two weeks to grow those playoffs handlebars

Bet Lappy's happy. Less likely he'll be riding pine with Metro out. Hope he heals quickly and well. Also hope the damn team stops losing.

Hopefully now one of Benoit Pouliot or Sergei Kostitsyn get some powerplay time.

I assume Lapierre will be taking Metro's spot in the lineup.

If Pouliot had had a righthanded shot and had been available from the start, it would never have occurred to Martin to put Metropolit on the PP.

That may well be the last time we see Metropolit in a Habs uniform. UFA at season's end and we need funds for to re-sign the core guys. Shame, I like the guy.

I hope he heals fast... just in case... you know.

Separated shoulders usually take months to heal. It took me 6 months for the pain to go away when I got one playing hockey. The habs have better access to medical treatment tho.

I too wish he would ; but looks to me like he's got one foot in the doghouse, and if he doesn't start playing better fast, he might get some consistent bench time...

Lapierre must be thanking his lucky stars.

In the meantime, Metro better work on that handlebar stache for the POs.

Mara and Metropolit are solid depth veterans; assuming we sneak in the playoffs, we will need them.

The only good news is that two solid depth players (Lapierre and Darche) were on the press box against NJ and are ready to pick up the slack.

Btw... I don’t see it anywhere; anyone has a link?

PS please, for the love of GAWD... no Pyatt on the PP!

Edit:

Dave Stubbs’ Twitter:

Further evaluation of Metropolit on Monday; they're not saying but he's got a separated shoulder
