Actually, I don't hate Gerbe on the third line that much. He brings a lot of speed to it and can feed Goose/Grier in front of the net pretty damn well. He's also pretty solid defensively for a little guy.
Stafford has been playing pretty good. He seems to have good games versus Boston. He just hasn't been shooting on net. Thats what bothers me. He has been using his body. Now hes in a position where He can be the X-Factor of the team. Vanek used to be this sadly.
We all saw what Ennis can do, and Having Two bigger bodies with Roy seems to be a good idea on paper. Kennedy and Gerbe reunite to try and spark their magic. With Goose down the middle fighting for position, could be pretty good...Or at least try it on the PP.
I won't lie this game seems like an utter trap to me. The call-ups have all preformed well in the past, and Ennis had a pretty monster game over the weekend. Not to mention that the Bruins are a completely beatable team, not one where I enter the game expecting a loss.
That being said I don't want to call a blow out. Nor am I sure that I necessarily want to call a win. Pencil me in for cautiously optimistic.
Also does anyone know of a good stream for tonight? My college doesn't get Versus, and the stream I typically use was taken down by "copyright holders." So I'm game-less tonight.
I love how when a players production dips, it's automatically because of effort. It couldn't possibly be because a loss of confidence or a string of bad luck, or maybe that he's just not that good. To fans, it is always effort. Well I can promise you, if he didn't put in an honest effort he would have never made it to where he is, and he sure as hell wouldn't continue to get playing time, and DR sure as hell wouldn't have offered him a new contract.
