Playoff Tickets... who's going?

Okay. I know. I'm on the hook if the Wings somehow manage to fall out of the playoff race. So, I'm prepared to take the flak if they don't.

Anyway... anybody buy any tickets yet? I'm thinking about going to game 4 or 6 of the first round, I'd love to sit lower bowl. Last year I went to Game 1 against Columbus, Game 2 against Anaheim and Game 5 against Pittsburgh.

I got to see some pretty epic games.

I'm really hoping to hit a couple of games this year again. The atmosphere was so awesome. So... who's going?

What am I looking at for a playoff ticket at the Joe? Might try to take a trip down from Toronto.

Just depends on the game and where you're sitting. Anywhere from 60 up to 125. If you wait too long you'll be forced to buy seats off of ticketexchange or some other site where it'll cost ya more.

Be positive, we'll make the playoffs. Go to the games and support the Wings, they need and deserve it. If I was in the US, I would definitely try to go, but I'm here in boring UK living off streams.

You can do that? I mean, Ticketmaster has the first 2 rounds up... I wasn't aware you could get tix for each round already.

Heh. Reminds me of when I was in college and sold my car to finance my trip to Pasadena to go to the Rose Bowl.

I'm seriously considering purchasing a ticket to two games per round. I'm hoping my Predators go far since the Oilers are obviously not in the running, but no matter what, it's great hockey.

I went to game 5 vs Anaheim last season, was incredible! Atmosphere, game, everything! I'll definitely be making the trip this season. 5-6 hour drive is nothing for playoff hockey, Red Wing playoff hockey!

Guys, what is the most you pay for the best seat in the arena? I really mean the most you have to pay (like a suite or something). I remember for the Olympics finals they had to pay thousands of dollars for a ticket.

Yes all season ticket holders can purchase any amount of tix 2 weeks before general public. They even allow you to change seats if you want...

Not there tonight bc LOL it's Edmonton... Reason for clients

I went to 3 playoff games last year (Ducks game 7 & SCF game 5 and 7) and my bank account is still a little bruised form those games. I'll probably go to a WCF game if they make it, but knowing how impulsive my spending is, I'll probably end up blowing my life savings before round 2.

The last few years I've been buying game 7 tickets to round 2 the day they went on sale, but we don't have home-ice this year so that just isn't happening.

Only if they're playing out here (SJ, possibly LA).
