Jonathan Toews mural

Chicagoland has Blackhawk fever. New to the city is an enormous mural, which can be seen from I-290, one of the main expressways into Chicago. In tune with the spirit, it features captain Jonathan Toews.

Except something doesn't seem.... right about him.

BTW, we've apparently already won the cup, so don't bother trying

If they're painting a giant mural, they could at least do a better job of actually making it look like the guy...

They usually have such better depictions of the people they are trying to paint on that building. Such a shame that Toews looks like he has a cleft lip and was born from a pig.

Also wtf at the Cup being in the background.

Looks like a cross between Tyler Kennedy and Alex Tanguay, and nothing like Toews.

That's what happens when you get a normal painter to do a mural. They should have hired graf artists, they wouldn't have disappointed.

Anyway, I'm sure Toews is incredibly pissed right now. Not only because they made him look like a pig and included the cup he didn't even win yet, but because he's never going to hear the end of it from opponents AND teammates.

Yikes. This reminds me a bit of Southampton putting up that awfuly designed statue of Ted Bates after his death. Like, doesnt anyone look it over before it results in a final product?
