Callahan also reporting that Jones likely in for Harrold and that Joel Ward is doubtful again for the Predators...therefore, unless the Preds recall someone from Milwaukee this afternoon...Wade Belak will be in the lineup for Nashville...which can only be looked upon as an advantage to the Kings...
The Belak line absolutely owned us last time we played.

Kings 2 (Kopi, Zus)
Nashville 1

Kings will FINALLY score an early goal (w/i 3:00) and get another late in the 1st.

Nashville will score 1 (off Kings Dman skate or leg) in the 2nd, setting up a stressful 3rd period.
Johnson will hit the post while shooting at an empty net with 0:45 left, causing even more stress if possible.

Go KINGS!!!

I found it pretty interesting today that Murray basically said he was pissed off that Stoll ended up running the top of the umbrella yesterday on the 5-on-3.

Yeah really.

We've all been assuming the plan is "give it to Stoll."

According to Murray's comments it is actually more like Stoll saying to everyone else "give it me!"

And then proceeded to shoot wide 4 out of 5 times. Man, that had to be the most frustrating 5 on 3 ever!

Yes it was!

However I don't fully agree with Murray. I agree Doughty needs to be the go-to guy on the point, but I also think a bigger problem is that Kopi is never setting up for a shot.

Sure, Kopi is a fantastic passer. He always has that option. But Kopi is our best shooter, and he needs to be firing away on 5-on-3s like there is no tomorrow.

Nah, if Bernier wins, and your Murray, you play Ersberg next game. Get Storr on the bench and send Bernier and Quick on a retreat to a day spa for rejuvenation.

Sounds pretty lame since the PP has been run through Stoll all season, especially on the 5-on-3's. He even admitted that Doughty's OT game winner wasn't the play that was designed. That play was supposed to go through Stoll.

Terry is sure doing a lot of talking from both sides of his mouth right now.

Well, to be fair to Kopitar, he did setup Brown for two slam dunks and he failed on both.
