1st Overall Pick

The other day i was thinking about the first overall pick from 2006-this year and was wondering how you guys would rank them if they were all in same draft. I would probably go

1)Stamkos
2)Kane
3)Johnson
4)Hall
5)Tavares
6)Seguin

I included both hall and seguin because it's up in the air at this point.The reason i put hall above tavares is they can both snipe but it comes down to speed. I put tavares over seguin because tavares dominanted in the O for a longer period of time. What do u guys think?

And just out of curiousity how good is cam fowler for real? If you put him in a draft with just doughty bogasian pieterangelo and schenn where would he rank?

My bad. I didn't read the OP correctly. Personally I'd have Tavares over Hall at this point.

I'd put Johnson over Kane, his potential is through the roof.

Tavares and Seguin could be a tie. I think Seguin is going to play amazing in the NHL.

The rest are all relatively close or in the same fold. Although, Kane is a bit ahead, but not by much.

Too early to tell on Hall and Seguin, but if i had to guess I'd take Seguin over Hall and both over Johnson. It would look like this;

1)Stamkos






2)Kane
3)Seguin
4)Hall
5)Johnson
6)Tavares

Doughty and then a couple of steps down Bogo / Petro , Fowler and then a few more steps down Schenn

Schenn is not at all like Aki Berg. I am still glad that we drafted Schenn.

yeah he was a #3rd overall pick..

the worst part of the berg trade (besides actually getting aki) was the pick we traded for him ended up being mr. Cammaleri..

these are the guys who can be judged.... sure is a nice group
