What a **** storm. Usually I'm one of the optimistic ones, but I would be absolutley shocked and befuddled if this team actually won a playoff series. I'd actually be surprised if they got more than 2 home playoff games.

Who can we get to bring up from college? Also, Powe would probably be re-signed as well, considering he does well under Lavy's system. I just don't know where to fit them, but honestly, with Carle traded, Hartnell and Boosh gone, it would solve a lot of cap problems.

Leino can take over Hartnell's job, Leighton has done so much for us this year, keep him as a good back up while backing Price, bring up Legein since Asham would be gone. Re-sign Carcillo. Re-sign Krajicek

Gagne-Richards-Carcillo
Leino-Carter-Briere
JVR-Giroux-Legein
Powe-Betts-Lappy

Pronger-Coburn
Timonen-Krajicek
Barts-Parent
Syvret

Price/Ellis (if we sign him instead)
Leighton

I know this is a completely different tangent, but I wanted to get this out there...

Anyways, at least they didn't lose by too much, but ******* our goalies...
yeah, pretty much, I'm going to make a thread where I comment on every player on the team after i finish my dinner

Oh that's why, I kind of wondered if these players were just born in the area or actually lived here- I know Jeff Halpern lived here but I didn't know about the others. That's sad to hear about his dad.

Remember, it's Halak that they would want a top 6 forward for him. I mean, Price or Ellis would be easier to get a hold of. Also, to have a back up like Leighton who is also experienced and has done well for us this year could really give Price a boost in confidence.Hartnell has a NTC, Briere has a NMC. Boosh should be waived right as the season ends.

I do not know much about college players signed, but Testiwuide (spelling) looks promissing.

Hartnell only has a NTC. He can be waived and sent to Kalamazoo or Mississippi or Moose Factory, Ontario if we want.

Price would cost more IMO and the opinion of most Montreal fans.

But that would be a good duo.

Laviolette would not commit to Boucher after the game. Said tomorrow is a must win and the biggest game of the year.

Bingo.

They want Giroux or JvR at the very least.

The only selling point of JvR and Giroux is that they can probably turn into better players than they currently are.

Carle is overpaid and is really not that good. In fact he's kinda bad.

Coburn has a big body and doesn't use it properly. I've never seen a player with that much speed get burned so often.

Hartnell is awful. At this point, the more time he's on the ice the worse he's played.

Briere doesn't fit here, but he signed his contract and has said that he wants to be here because of his family.

If the Flyers are alright in trading JvR or Giroux for Price, I'd say pull the trigger. He's shown a hell of a lot more at this level, even in his rookie season, than either of them have shown this season.

Buffalo, Boston and the Flyers all lose to non-PO teams. The Carolina-Ottawa game is in a shootout. No such thing as easy wins.

The team has to offload the sucky goalies, and play better in front of them. Better yet be more productive on offence.

I had referenced once the Brazilian soccer team of 70's. They never had good goalies, but their motto was- You can score as many as you can, we will score at least one more than you.

The power forwards have to step-up.
