That right there is why Derek Meech gets ice time. Took the puck right to the front of the net. Didn't score but it was a quality scoring chance.

Is it just me or have the last few games been really boring? Minny, Nashville, even the Edmonton game have all sucked.

all teams are playing basically same way with 3 guys back. Not much room for forwards to go.

Wings really controlled play there. Pavs is just driving Rick Nash bonkers.

Actually, it's Zetterberg driving him nuts.

It seems like most projections I've seen for next year, from fans, have Homer on the 3rd line. I don't get it, just don't get it. I don't care if Holmstrom is 70 and blind, he belongs on a scoring line. He has the vision and passing to be a benefit in such a role. He's nearly worthless on a non-scoring line. Can't believe how many people still under-rate Holmstrom as a top-6 player. Oh, he's a slow skater! And you're a slow thinker!

Well on that one play. At the top of the broadcast they were talking about how Mike Babcock said earlier today that Pavs would be on the ice against him whenever his line was on the ice. They showed a clip where Nash was barking at Pavs, just completely frustrated.

Yeah, I think a lot of people overlook all the hard work he does in the corner, and the kind of skill it takes to dig it out and make the good pass. He does more than just stand in front of the net.

Must've missed that. From what I've seen Z has been out against Nash pretty much every shift?

Actually Babs said Franzen would be on the ice against Nash. At least that's what Mickey and Ken were saying. Murph commented on it too.

Nash has played against both Datsyuk and Zetterberg tonight, but mostly against Zetterberg it seems, who's been owning him.

Yeah, Homer has definitely been effective tonight. He fits in well with Pavs as he can go to the corners to collect pucks and keep plays alive.
