Hey KC, is Wallin getting the back C you think? Frögren and Knee Hunter with the A's?

I remember Frölunda almost signing him four years ago, that would've been something.

looks like Farjestads i looking at more than just willing the SEL but maybe even the european championship. how would other top league teams from the DEL, SM-L, Swiss A and KHL match up againist Farjestads.

on a side not does anyone know where i can get Farjestads jersey with a name on the back? i'd be looking to get either Frogren or Wallin. last time i was in Sweden i got a Indians jersey with Henrik Lundqvist on the back. also have a Sundin Team Sweden, Forsberg - MoDo and a Markstrom - Team Sweden from the world jrs.

Yeah I think he will get the C with Frögren and Lindström as alternates, maybe Prestberg instead of Lindström.

Haha Frölunda only sign finnish players

The top KHL teams would probably match up against this Färjestad team pretty evenly, I don't know much about the other leauges yet since most of them "provide" NHL, KHL and AHL with players still.

About the jersey, best thing would probably be to send the marketingdepartment an email with your request and they can probably help you out. information@farjestadsbk.se

Looks good. But I think Dragan will play with Wallin and Berglund. Think they will be a good line who complement each other.
Åslund - Bastiansen - Prestberg is what I hope to see. They will also complement each other very well imo. Forwards look ok but not great. It is the D that is awesome
I just hopes the goalies are up for it (I think they are but it is not exactly super stars protecting the net).
Top 3 in the SEL and a place in the final is what I expect.

Well.. I was talking about the title as champions, I'm sure Real Glenn HC can win a game or two (especially if they are played in Göteborg.. )

But of course, we gotta play about it but it looks pretty damn good when I look at the names.

Färjestad has the outspoken goal to always be a candidate for the SEL title, I'm not sure about how focused the club is on winning CHL but it would be fun to play against a NHL team when it's not a friendly game (we played against Detroit this past season but that was only a friendly game).

No problem.

Detroit Red Wings actually posted a video feed for season ticket holders. One of my dad's friends is a hugh Wings fan(as is my girlfriend) and actually his son get's season tickets and i got to watch the game. I was just happy to see Farjestads play a game that was live and not taped( i have a friend who plays in europe, not sure what league he is in anymore(he did play in the Dutch league), but he sends me tapes of the games he has taped over a 2 week span).

I actually have a Farjestads banner that hangs just under my Leafs banner and over my Marlies banner. i hope i can get that jeresy.

Nils Ekman is back with DIF and he signed a 3 year deal. Get in!

Now lets get Linkan as well. There are a ton of signings to make still after seemingly losing Josefson, Wesslau, Klubertanz, Engqvist etc..

Josef Boumedienne has also signed with DIF. I hope he's still a good player. Seems like he's been injured a lot in recent times.

It's too bad, but they were way down on their teams' very deep depth charts. They couldn't risk getting stuck there.

well, klingberg is back with your team and it's a good move. he is good enough to work himself up in the depth charts. unless the coach is a complete moron, who knows.

The whole deal happend really quick, less than 24 hours from contact to signing if I'm informed correctly (and I am )

I'm somewhat split about this Pelle is a great player in the right environment but just as high as his good times can be, just as low are his bad preformances and you never really know what kind of night he is going to have.

I would rather have seen Robin Sterner get more icetime but it's obvious that Färjestad is looking to win SEL next season and is making sure they got the players for it.
SOrry to ask it but i'm kinda rookie about SEL, what was Prestberg previous team?

It wouldnt surprise me at all if he is a notch above Liv.
I would like to see him in Tre Kronor this season.

At the same time I think he is leaving Detroit and NA too early. Would have liked him to give it a few more years.
On the other hand, I dont know the whole story behind him returning to Sweden.
I think the rise of Holland kinda stop Larsson in Detroit. I think he just doesn't see anymore future with the Wings.

Färjestad, they dumped him two years ago to get the team younger and moving in a new direction. That lasted long...

what do you guys think about Junland, Frogren, Wallin, Larsson, Axelsson... who just coming off bad experiences in North America and go back in SEL? Isn't it too early for guys like Paajarvi-Svensson, or Peter Andersson to make the big jump ?

Moran is chasing rubles and might get a KHL contract, there's a small chance he'll resign with SAIK but I highly doubt it. A great centerman but two years in a row he was a no-show in the playoffs and that won't help his chances in the KHL. Moran is too weak but he developed tons from his first to second year in SEL and got tougher and faster and way better defensively.

Surovy will probably play in the Slovak or Czech league or something, he's been too bad for several years now to get any contract in Sweden, Finland,Russia but who knows, even Jonte "The missing fourth brother from that creepy x-files incest episode" Hedtröm got signed by a Finnish team so anything can happen even if you suck.
