We need 3 points from this Florida trip. 4 points would be awesome.

Gotta shut down Stamkos.

Well we couldn't possibly ask for more help. Can't overstate how big 2 wins in FLA would be, LGR!

LETS GO RANGERS!! Biggest factor imo will be at the outset of the game. Tortorella can't let the home team get out to 2-0 leads every night and then expect to come back and win hockey games against teams in similar situations as the Rangers.

With that said, the Islanders are every bit as good as the Lightning. Not to mention they're our arch rival and looking to get into the playoffs themselves (they played so well against Philly and I don't think their looking to be the first team at the podium this summer).

So I think the Rangers have to weather the storm (because Tampa will no doubt come out flying) and commit to "stingy defense" during the first quarter of period 1 at the very least. Hopefully, they won't have to work extra hard during period number two to come back from a 2 goal deficit and they can quiet the crowd.

I know Stamkos is playing for a "Rocket Richard" this year but I still believe if Tampa is going to win, it will be with timely goals from veteran players like St. Louis and Vinny.

Finally, please guys....no dumb penalties and limit turnovers!!

They weren't exactly playing like power-houses that game.

IDK what it is but it seems like Gaborik loves having Voros on his line. The two were best friends in Minnesota and Gabby couldn't help but smile when John brought up Aaron's big part in the Rangers third goal against the Isles. I'd put them out together tonight as well.

Voros does all of the grinding. And Gaborik does the scoring. Reminds me of Don Maloney playing with Esposito.

Ok so everyone in front of the rangers lost, this is the perfect opportunity to climb closer to a playoff spot.

That being said this is the type of game that they normally screw up so itll probably be a 3-1 loss.

Seems like there would be a big spying deal if they let anyone in.

If we take at least 3 points in this trip I'd say we're playoff bound.

But I hate the fact of how confident I feel after tonight.

LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been this excited for a game in a while

How about we don't let stamkos score? please?

Shut down that stamkos-st.louis combo and you have a good chance to win.

I saw him in Argos a few hours ago, he was fighting the Kraken, so I doubt he'll be at the game. Man the guy has been all over the place, even to another planet.

On a serious note, I'm psyched to watch Stamkos tomorrow.

This game is CRUCIAL. This is a MUST win. Philly, Boston, and Atlanta all lost yesterday. I think Montreal lost their last game too. This is a no doubter must win no matter what.

Heading on a plane to Florida this evening, won't be able to watch any games until late next week....

Hoping that when I get back, they're in playoff position and ready to go at this point...

Given all the help we got last night it's pretty safe to say we'll bomb tonight.
