Tedenby is on the fourth line for HV71 today. He just got a matching roughing minor, the other guy got an extra two minutes and HV71 scored on the PP.

McIntyre looked pretty good against Cornell tonight, though he didn't register any points. Seems like a class act, though. He came over to shake Greening's hand again and chat a bit after the line-shake.

Blake Gallagher at Cornell is an undrafted free agent who might attract some interest from NHL clubs. I'm curious to see if Lou will take a chance there.

Good night for Fayne. He figured into all four of his team's goals as they upset a ranked opponent. That has to feel really good.

Pretty impressive that he still managed to have an even rating in such a drubbing.

Odd to see Henrique not score, but I guess even he has off days too.

Gelinas was sitting in the penalty box for all three Shawinigan powerplay goals. The Cataractes were 3-8 on the powerplay. Lewiston gave up 52 total shots.

Can't wait to read it.

And Gelinas has to step it up. I don't care if he is on a bad team, he has to prove to the Devils that he can make something out of nothing, and so far he hasn't done that. I am just looking at the stats, but maybe someone who has actually seen him play can give us insight on this one?

Gelinas was a project pick and the team knew that when they selected him. He's still growing into his frame. It will be several years before he makes it to the NHL. I wouldn't get too down on him yet.

Ya, I would imagine he was selected by the Devils knowing he was a boom/bust type of guy and willing to take the gamble. They might have been even more comfortable with that feeling they took the safe pick in Josefson during the first round. I mean the upside of a guy who could be like 6'7" or 6'8" possibly and can play is a lot of possible reward to gamble against the risk.

Wohlberg and Burlon each score in a 6-0 stomping of Minnesota..

Even thought they lost 6-0, Hoeffel looked really good. Hit two posts and had a couple other good chances..Solid in all zones.

Burlon is a very good skater. Announcers commented on it numerous times. Good to see him get his first goal of the year..

How much did they all play? I know Wohlberg was on their top line last year and Burlon was in Michigan's top four last year, but I've heard that Burlon was on their bottom pairing now?

What about Hoeffel? I imagine he's got a pretty big role this year.

Hoeffel played a lot. He's on the right with Schroeder. You're right, he definitely has a big role with the team. He could've easily had 2-3 goals. He's improved his skating and I was impressed with his backchecking as well.

It looks like Burlon's game is starting to come around after a slow start. Such a smooth skater and not afraid to jump. Wohlberg showed off his speed on his goal and had a couple other chances. Not nearly as noticeable as Hoeffel though.

Helgeson was a mess in his own end. Fell skating backwards a couple times and ran a lot. Probably just a bad game for him.

Berube had a good night, I like seeing him pick up the scoring again after hitting a little bit of a dry spell. Seems like Cormier played well too.

What I want to know is, why did Gelinas end up taking a draw in that game?! And who the hell lost a faceoff to a defenceman?

Just another night at the office for Henrique, I pretty much expect to see some form of scoring from him every time now.

If anyone can find a link to the Skelleftea - HV71 game hook a brother goose up. I wanna see what all the fuss is with this Larsson character in between Tedenby's 10 shifts. Djurgardens game would be fine as well.
