Definitely think we should maintain NMCs/NTCs.

My 2010 nhl mock draft creator spreadsheet might be helpful to people in this draft. I will have an updated version once the season ends with the proper picking order but this version was from a little while ago and gives you an idea of what it can do.

Here is a run down on the features the link you can download it from:

Here is my 2010 NHL Mock Draft Creator Spreadsheet. Some of you may remember the sheet from previous years. (Ive created these sheets for the NFL draft for about the last 5 years and for the NHL draft each of the last 2 or 3 years). As a refresher here are some of the features of the spreadsheet.

Features:

Over 350 players (Name, Position, Height, Weight, Team) ranked by averaging various player rankings on the net.

Ability to view by specific player position.

Team statistical rankings from this past year (Standings and goals for and against.)
(This will be filled in at year end.)

Easy to use, just put the number where you think a player will be picked next to his name on the Player Data page and it fills in his position on your mock draft page. The final draft position obviously wont be up to date until the end of the regular season. This draft order is as of a couple weeks back so it will be different as of today.

Ability to filter the mock draft page to only include the picks for the team you cheer for.

List of 2010 Free Agents.

Sheet allowing you to create salary cap mock ups for your teams roster for next year.

Here is the link to download the spreadsheet: (Scroll down and click on the download link for the spreadsheet file.)

So... Sestito didn't play 25 games and it's only a 7 round draft... so I don't have to give Edmonton anything?

I'll take Toronto, depending on when the drafting will be done. If I feel like I might hold things up, then I won't join.

If you're not going to be around to actually make the picks, PM a list of your preferred selections to that spot to someone who will be and they'll take the highest guy on your list for you.
