Hopefully the Wild take that to heart, because they need a Soul Vaccination like none other after essentially ******** the bed versus Chicago on Wednesday.

Preview:
San Jose: Time of the year that Sharks fans dread the Red Wings.
Minnesota: Time of the year that Wild fans dread the Tigers.

Is there a point to do another "Get to know your opposing fanbase" given I already did a Sharks one?

Probably not. Unless you have learned something new that you would like to share with the rest of us.

The real question is, are you going to do them next year?

Thanks. I can continue to do it because each new GDT has its own posts (it's really just half facts and half spinning posts around FoxNews-style), just wasn't sure if there was a point.

Haha, and it's really funny. You have to be on it next year. I'm going to prepare a free agency post once the season is over, and we'll have to start thinking about who we are going to take once we know our draft position.

I really want to start a good discussion on who will target and such, the line combo thread was a really good one.

At that rate, Richards is going to run a five defensemen system.

Unless it's Cam Fowler, I seriously doubt we take a D at #10 or thereabouts.

Look at our prospects...I think the ones with the most offensive upside are Haula or Foucault.

Haula is a long term project at that, but the way he is scoring in the USHL is good to see.

Foucault on the other hand, he had quite a few points, but I think the Hitmen are a pretty strong team.

I also believe that Fourcault would be a mediocre prospect on any other team with those numbers as a nineteen year-old in the Dub. That just speaks wonders to how badly the pipeline has dried up in terms of forwards.

Yeah, I think our leading scorer in terms of real forward prospects in the AHL is Kalus...12G - 9A.

Foucault is...19 I think, does that mean he plays another year for Hitmen? I'm not really sure how the whole thing works there, how long are they eligible to play in the CHL?

Ah, looks like he'll be back there again then. Maybe he can find a scoring touch? Hah, doubt it though with our prospect luck.
