So the last time we played we were missing:

Andrei Kostitsyn
Benoit Pouliot
Mike Cammalleri
Andrei Markov

Now, they are missing Michael Leghton and Jeff Carter. No excuses. Win.

so if we're in the playoffs, it's 6-8. if the top 3 remains wash, buffalo, pitts, then i don't really care where we finish. each team is poses their own kind of threat. different elements have come into play to lead to each team's success. and the habs have actually been competitive against those 3 teams throughout this season. some solid matches against the caps come to mind.

anyways. i'm getting really excited!

If they start the other guy (not Boucher) I have a very bad feeling about this. We are intimidated by Philly, do not respond to them (ex Carcillo checking Plex into the boards face first, then staring down our bench and yapping, challenging anyone to come out and take him on), allow them to gain momentum, and generally play like we'd rather be doing something else. We become the softest perimeter team against them.

No excuses but can easily see us making this guy's first NHL start - if indeed he starts - some usual bs 'miracle-stood-on-head' night as we mail it in.

Interesting to see if team starts to tune out JM after his 'defense' of Price.

Dont forget that Marc-Andre Bergeron was missing too. We will win anyways. Here are the injuries:

Montreal:
Paul Mara
Glen Metropolit
Sergei Kostitsyn

Philadelphia:
Ray Emery
Michael Leighton
Jeff Carter
Johan Backlund

Philly Right now has 3 goalies out injured! Now all they have is Boucher and someone else which I dont know. Our team only really has Metropolit and S. Kostitsyn out injured. With Carter, Leighton and Emery out, I think its a good chance the Habs will win.

Philly just signed Sebastien Caron. He is from Quebec.

We need to pick him off waivers before noon just so he doesn't start against us. Quebec goalie = automatic win.

This is a four point game in an epic playoff race between 5 teams for 3 spots, the Habs that usually show up for Halak better show up for him again as this game will be a playoff like game, take no prisoners type of game...Halak needs to be at his best too.

I think Drew Doughty and Carey Price are separated brothers:

I don't know if he will be available to play today. I'm sure he's been in Swiss for all this time, the time change... and playing today would be freaking stupid for Flyers.

What's even more dumb...

Caron cannot play in the playoffs because he was signed AFTER the trade deadline. So what you will ride him for 5 games than tell him to go watch the game from the press box? Give a chance to your young guys then.. don't throw away cap space for a guy to play 5 games so you can get eliminated in 4.
