It pains me to say but I agree. I've played B-ball my whole life and used to love watching the NBA but its just brutal now. I still love the Lakers but there's just no parity in the NBA. You know who's going to win every single game and the Raptors are just terrible. Who teaches them 'defense'? I fear what will happen to that team after Bosh walks in free agency.
Colangelo will do a sign and trade before he let's Bosh walk for nothing.
Im going a little far, but I dont necessarily think Kuba makes us much better, and I also consider greatly the chance that he actually may make a little worse.
Either way, I dont think were in rough shape, we lost an option, but I dont think we necesarily lost a piece thats gonna hurt for sure.
With our defence shaping up the way it is, I dont think Kuba would have been deserving of top 4 minutes. But he would be an option if things go bad with someone or an injury occurs.
how the hell do we get "saved" when we lose a Top 4 defensmen going into the playoffs? Ya i know a lot of ppl hate him but going into the playoffs with 3 rookies (Carkner, Camps, and Karlsson) and then having our extra (Lee) as a rookie as well, i know i sure as hell would like to have Kuba in the fold who can log a **** load of mins.
If Karlsson or Carkner falter we need Kuba there to take over bigger mins.
Reg season success =/= playoff success ... especially when we are talking about young guys who havent been there yet.
