Yea on the second point! Boo on the first. Sorry, I cannot believe that none of the western teams have asked for the game. If they haven't, then they have to be making it harder for them to host the game by asking them to pay travel costs or something.

If it were any other year I'd agree with you about the location, but in the AHL's 75th season I don't have a problem with them awarding it to the most historic team in the league.
