I was watching the Wild feed and man...those announcers have to be some of the most biased ones ive ever heard...
They dont think that the last penalty was deserving.....the rules are clear...a player is responsible for his own stick at all times....so if his stick gets tied up with Burrows stick and they both go up and the Wild players stick hits burrows somewhere in the face..thats a penalty..straight up....LOL I was laughing pretty hard because how can you get a job where you call a NHL game and you dont even know the rules
Why are people missing the four times people have said the Wild announcers are crummy? It's not a new thought. Although in fairness to them (because someone has to), they said that before seeing a good replay. The fact that they slowly came to the call after about four of them is another story...
The Wild deserve better announcers....I like the Wild...you guys have an amazing fan base......your practically Canadian!!
Send the bad announcers to cities that dont care about hockey..like the Preds..or the Blue Jackets.
It's just too bad, couldn't believe that we tied it up, too bad that it had to happen that way. We now got a point, but it was nice to see a Wellman to Almond feed there. I called the Almond goal...just in the 2nd period...lol
That was a great heads-up play by both young guys, but it just saddens me how badly the Wild's offense was floundering for the first fifty-nine minutes. Especially because that was the second-best heads-up play of the night and it was done by the two least likely guys (well three if you include Boogaard).
Wellman looked good, he's going to be really good if he could get some playing time, getting better in the corners and adding some size. Almond's already been up here a couple of times, I think he may be okay, he's a nice energy guy, but I don't think he'll be scoring a lot.
We don't have any high-end prospects coming up, but hopefully we can fix that with the draft this year. We moved up to #9 with a point tonight, even though it was awesome to watch us tie it.
