Well my good man, this makes all the difference in the world for me. I'm a believer. Our CAPtain is deity.

I think it's cool that you stick by him. I think he's average. JMO

Dumb it down for me please.
Sorry If I've offended you with that disgraceful mistake. I've been juggling with 3 languages all week long. Btw, I was correcting it while you were typing... And you know what? Go back trolling on my ignore list...

I would have thought more of you being the adult had you stopped after "...were typing. Then you show your colors at the end.

I'm a Ranger fan that disagrees with you, not a troll. But thanks for the ignore.

I don't criticize your opinion on Drury, you have your own, I have mine, that's not a problem as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully we're all different and have not the same opinion. Wouldn't it be boring otherwise? You know, I've posted my sarcastic/ironic "in before haters" comment in the first place, knowing you would bite within the hour. I've been guilty of trolling more than you here, I can't hide it, and I send my apologies to the staff. I just wanted to say to you that I think, you've been putting way too much emphasis into your hating speech towards Drury this season, that's getting very annoying to me and probably to some other here (guys, that's where you step in ).

I'm not a so-called Drury "fanboy". I like the person, I like the player (no need to elaborate). But I'm not in a love fest with him to the point to not recognize he's not been playing great this season AND that he's overpaid from day 1. But I think it's unfair right now to keep bashing the guy. I could understand the anger and the disappointment 4 months ago, but not today. Drury has been playing good hockey lately. He's not a liability on the ice for this team and that's all that should matter when the boys are out there.

I agree with this. Its very similar to the Rosy or Redden situation. Rosy was horrible at the start of the year but deserves credit now for stepping it up and being a reliable defensmen. As for Redden i thought the start to his year was pretty good as well but as of late he has been back to his old sucky form.

As for Drury i was as angry as anyone with his first half of the season. Whether it was due to a concussion or not that is not an excuse because if he was injured he should have been sitting. Drury brings a lot of intangibles to the team that often go unnoticed by people looking at only the big stats. Do i think he's the number one or even number two center we need to be cup contenders probably not.

But to compare him to Betts and to act as if he is rather worthless is incorrect.

The guy is a good hockey player whose had a bad year for us.

Hopefully he will rebound with 25 goals or so next year as he has looked much better since about 2 weeks before the olympics. When he is at full strength Chris Drury is a major asset for any team.

The guy will score the most glorified 35-40 points in the anals of the NHL history. Yo go Cap!
I actually agree with you about Drury, and I'm generally loathe to point out others' spelling errors, but after you went after someone else for language issues...

The Captain looks good right now. Scoring and hustling.

Keep It Up.

I really think Torts learned somthing from Wilson about how to use Drury the right way in the Olympics. Since the Olym, pics, Drury has been crashing the net & when he gets PP time he is in front of the net & not on the point.

Even though he is playing with Grinders That don't score often he is getting some space to create offense on his own.

I doubt he ever get's back to what he was in Buffallo, but if he can continue to be a shut down player & PK specialist & can get back to hos career average of 55 points a season I can live with that for the remainder of his contract.

Freudian slip? I meant to write that way. But good catch.

Ref. Dreary, I'd give him some slack if he were scrutinized in the same way others are. Like I said, in the FLA game he scored an insurance 3rd goal (in a 4-1 win) and guys were falling over themselves calling him clutch. The guy hasn't scored a clutch goal since the POs against us. Why not call Staals goal clutch. Why not Pru's go-ahead goal. Dreary's fans are trying too hard to recusitate a career that is clearly in decline. Like I said, IMO, he will go down as the worst signing in Ranger history (ooops, forgot Redden).

He's played better.

Can't wait until he's gone.

Pretty much sums up how I feel about him as a player/leader
