Chicago clinches the Central for the first time in 17 years.

Yeah. Just like last year they were expected to get out in the first, thanks to Osgood.
And just like the year they won the cup, but that was all D and offense.
When is osgood bashing gonna stop being "cool", man...

No kidding. I can't recall the last time the Wings gave up so many odd man rushes. Just not focused on playing defense first, I guess.

We now need 5 points in the final six if Nashville only gets 2.

Nashville goes to Phoenix and hosts St.Louis

We have a home-home with Columbus and then Chicago next Sunday.

So we lost. I hoped we could get at least a point here.

Flyers wanted more. Wings looked real sloppy and as usual, no intensity and overconfidence beginning of the game.

Look at osgoods stats this year buddy.....he "was" good at one point in time, not anymore. Why in the world would you defend him this year?

The Flyers needed it more, I guess, so they fought for the win.

It was a fun game to be at. A TON of Red Wings fans were there. I kept going nuts when Detroit scored. It's a shame they lost. I hate the Flyers and want them to miss out so bad.

Because this is exactly what people said about him last year. I don't defend him.
If you expect him to suck, as you do, why do you whine about it? Why are you angry about something you know is going to happen. We all knew he was going to let in some softies, right? It's nothing new, so why be angry? I accepted his play in the regular season some time ago.
He's a cold goalie, with the ability to let in softies. Thank god (or Holland) that the team doesn't pay him a ***** load of cash for being average at best like some other goalies throughout the lague.

2-0 Chicago early in the 2nd period. Doesn't mean anything, other than officially giving us the "x". Well, I guess and the fact that Chicago would move within 1 point of San Jose.

Not a very good effort by the good guys. Bad starts in day games seem to be the norm.

I'd still bet it's because of that shot he blocked in the Nashville game. Looked like he limped pretty badly after that. Even if it's not serious, they probably just wanted to give him a rest.
