well, the game is on TSN in Canada so I could make some Youtube videos if needed.

Wild can win that game of course.

Think I got the lineups all set up. If worse comes to worse, the Twins are opening up tonight against the Angels tonight on ESPN2, in case you wanted to watch something in HD lol

About to say, this is going to be a poorly watched game given the teams and going up against the March Madness final and the Twins' opener.

Boston's is the **** man. I'm stuck at work tonight. I'll be home in time for part of the Twins game. I doubt I'm going to be watching much of the Wild game, but that's okay. I'm excited for baseball.

Music that sums up tonight's game: Well there's a band named Edmonton which is essentially emo rock, but since I can't find anything on them from Youtube and I want to save the Rural Alberta Advantage for Thursday let's go with this.

Getting To Know Your Opposing Fanbase: Edmonton Oilers Edition
-Edmonton is the capital of Alberta.

-No one knows why they keep making GDT threads. Not even me.

-The West Edmonton Mall is the largest shopping center in North America and most likely the largest tourist trap in Western Canada. If you ever wonder what the Phase II of the MOA would look like (provided it gets built before someone else uses the old Met Center parking lot), it is essentially the West Edmonton Mall.

-The end is in sight, which is pretty amazing given how badly the Oilers have fared this year and look to fare next year.

-Edmonton is nicknamed "the Festival City"

-If JDD starts, they probably win. So apparently they will lose.

-There should be more fun facts but the Oilers GDT has one less post than this one. Success!

-In honor of Easter yesterday: The Oilers have played against Crusaders, two different Saints (of the Fighting variety), Canucks and Canadiens along with Devils, two different Sharks, Cougars, Racers, Stingers and Stars (both North and regular). Unfortunately they missed out on Barons and Millionaires, but that's okay.

Of course. All visitors get their choice. But how can you not enjoy punch? It's delicious.

No, it's a band that is named "Edmonton." Either way, not a big deal.

Looks like Schultz, Nolan and Zidlicky are all going to be out with Nate Prosser making his NHL debut. Fun times! Over/under on this thread reaching two pages?

Vizzie does not represent Oilers punch fans. We all love punch. Everyone loves punch.

Punch and punch accessories, punch hats, punching, spiked punch, Punch Neopolitan Pizza, and of course Mike Tyson's Punch Out!

Not to be confused with Ponch

.... except me. (proceeds to put on his Ray Ban Wayfarers)

BTW, I can see Burns having a monster season next year. I am a big fan of his. Numerous times he's saved my bacon when I get into heated debates with my Flames 'acquaintances' over who is the best young defenseman in the game.

Edit: And congrats to him for becoming a Dad!
