A loss today would mean the Blues are officially out. A win and they're almost certainly out.

Jumbotron video of the game to be shown here: http://www.justin.tv/theblanetwork4#r=BXMXDxA~

He's starting with the Washington game and going over to the Jackets/blues game when it starts.

(he's going to sync it with the radio broadcast)

FSN sucks even more than I thought.

Wasn't it supposed to be on some alternate channel?

I should be used to missing Blues games by now. Boy, DISH and FSN are really awful.

You're wrong there MB.
The 8th game will be aired on an alternate channel.
VS has the rights to this game, which cannot be aired in the US as they aired the Bruins/Capitals game.

Was at the game tonight. EJ took over the last 15 minutes. It was unreal, you could just tell he wanted to win. With 2 minutes left in the game, I looked at him and he looked spent coming down to our end. He was parked in front of the net taking some deep breaths, but he got back and played D until play stopped. He was gassed from the long shift because prior to play coming down on our end, he was really working to make something happen in the offensive zone. We held the puck in CBJ's zone for a minute straight and EJ had a couple good chances to score. He was all over the place and looked good moving the puck. Watching him get back, you could tell he gave it all he's got. Then he came out in OT and played the same way and eventually blistered one past Garon. Hell of a finish for the kid, I loved his competitiveness. Played a great game.

Does anyone know why Tkachuk and Berglund only had 7:00 TOI? Not injured I hope?

From the Yahoo article on the game:
Quote:
NOTES: Blues F Keith Tkachuk(notes) played in his 1,200th game. He drew a double-minor penalty for boarding and roughing late in the first, slamming his stick on the ice in frustration. The player he elbowed into the boards, center Andrew Murray(notes), did not return, and Tkachuk was sidelined with an undisclosed injury after two periods. … Blues F Patrik Berglund(notes) (upper body) also missed the third.

Well, looks like the Blues are trying to make it interestings. A win over Chicago will really make it interesting.
