This is completely making my point that Brahm Resnick is biased. He sends out 3 tweets to report that Ice Edge "may" be pulling out. Now that Strader is reporting that IE and COG have agreed to terms, silence from our "objective" reporter.

He must be still driving around New Hampshire looking for a hockey team called the Manchester United.

He's probably biased. But even more, he's not particularly smart enough to know when he's being used. As I said last night, if IEH were going to walk on the negotiation, it would have done so, and we never would have heard about it. Jones' statement last night was plaintly negotiation in the media. A deal didn't go from being "a major step backwards" to "done" in 20 hours. It was negotiation.

mod note: we're merging the ownership discussion back into one stickied thread.

With all the recent new developments, articles and resulting different threads, it's time to pull everything back together.

I like Brahm, but the problem is that he is Canadian AND he is media. Sharing information as newsworthy that is either inaccurate, made up, or completely false altogether is what he does. It's like a genetic defect. He can't help it.

It seems as if it is. By the way Dave Strader put it, this sounds like this deal could be approved on Tuesday. If it is approved, I think all that is left is the official announcement

KTAR reported that IEH signed something with GoG today. No idea what but it seems to be what was mentioned above.

Anyone wanna take bets on when the next twitter rumor will come out saying there is a setback or some other random unconfirmed nonsense?

I'm going with Saturday 1 hour before the game.

Didn't IE or Reinsdorf already sign a MOU a year ago?

Here's the cliff's notes version:

-Apparently Ice Edge and Reinsdorf have agreed to terms for new leases.
-Per the Goldwater Institute suit COG has to present the lease terms to the public prior to voting.
-The lease terms are supposed to be posted sometime today.
-COG will vote on the lease agreements next Tuesday at 7:00pm.
-As soon as the terms are available, GI will start hammering through looking for someting to gripe about.
-If the leases are approved, the groups must get their financing in order.
-Assuming the financing is done, then they hammer out a final agreeement with the NHL.

If anyone sees anything I missed or got wrong, let me know.
