I might do that if I can't think of anything else. My girlfriend is going to ask for a puck on the back of her sign. Yes she's that needy. What's the proper French on that, boys?

S'il vous plaît me jeter un rondelle?

I'm just beginning to take French in college, and this is my first time learning, so pardon the ignorance.

Is that a nice way of saying it? She really wants one, wouldn't want to be too demanding. Gomer is usually generous with the pucks from what I've seen at away games.

The Québécois one could be translated to : Give me a puck, ****.

So... no.

not to be crude, but maybe you should have a sign imploring Lappy or whoever to give you one (I hope to god you will be in the O-zone btw):

"Hey les boys...tonight, NO PUCK, NO...something that rhymes"

actually that would be awesome if the camera caught that as they always tend to catch things that should not be on a "family" TV program, usually easy to decipher lip movements.

I figured, hence the sarcasm smiley. I don't think that'd go over so well...or maybe I should try a little reverse psychology?

hahahahahahaha....That would be awesome, but how would I get it in? I could staple it to the back of my other sign facing the wrong way and rip it off when we get inside.

I wouldn't want to get kicked out after paying $400 for front row seats for the two of us though

No need hide the fact you're pulling for the Leafs, the more they win, the more it screws the Bruins pick anyway.

I figure I'll do it, everyone. Someone has to tell me how to say that if we don't get a puck, well I don't get a...you know, short enough for me to legibly write on a poster to hold up when my girlfriend holds one asking for a puck

Write this. Try to find some space. 99% sure you'll get more than one puck:

Maxime, s-il vous plait, donne moi une rondelle est ma blonde va te remettre deux grosses rondelles blanches.

What's the translation on that?

Also, I have this taping here but it's the Islanders station where no one will speak French. I hope someone has TiVo and can get a video with their phone or something if I'm on RDS

Thankfully she doesn't even speak a little. I'm worried if I do that he'll actually expect them...

I could always show him mine.

It's the best I could do to relate hockey related jargon to be interpreted in the form of breasts. I failed. Sorry HFB
