Viktor Stålberg

What if this guy has a great rookie season and good enough to play on our olympic team? Well he cant because he was not on the initial lists.

Even more weird, his kid brother didn't get drafted.

Not like i'm not impressed, but i'd like to see some production in a regular season before over-hyping. After all teams are not putting their hearts in the pre-season ie Detroit.

2 goals last night, and was first star.
Has really looked very good in the last couple games, I predict he will make the team full time next year.

Nah, I disagree, I'm a Leafs fan and I've seen every one of Stalberg's Leafs games this year. This kid is freakin huge, is probably one of the best north - south skaters in the NHL, goes hard to the net but... lacks puck skills and a good shot. Moreover, his hockey sense is terrible, he seems really confused out there. Finally, he doesn't keep his head up! He's gotten piledrived several times already this year, one that gave him an injury.

stalberg has good speed and skates very well. but sadly he might cap out as a 3rd liner.

There are times when he shoots too much....and nights when he passes off too much. Defensive zone coverage could be better. Shot accuracy could also be a little better. However, its his first season, so no need to worry anytime soon.

if stalberg was on team that did not need him right away he'd be in the AHL developing his skills.

Euhm... well, yeah!? Isn't that the case with every single player in the NHL?
