Well...someone had to start it...

Boods gets the nod tonight per Adrian Dater. We'll see if the boys have anything left in that tank after last night.

This might actuelly be a L. The team gave it all yesterday, huge celebration, and facing a team they should beat the next day usually spells trouble.

reverse jinx

Does anyone think Hejduk should be rested? I do.

Good comment , the more important was to make the playoff and we are in . So like you, i expect the guys to be a little low tonight

I don't care what happens the rest of the season. The playoffs are all that matters. They should be resting our top guys the rest of the way IMO. This may be the only game I WANT to see Durno play.

I hope they put Duchene on the top line... The kid needs to get motivated and excited for the playoffs.

He did a great job last night.

This. I wouldn't mind a one night experiment with:

Hejduk-Duchene-Stewart
Galiardi-Stastny-Yip

For top lines. It mixes things up a bit but maybe it can jump start Stewie for the playoffs. I think that it is good to break the lines up for a game or two when they are getting stale but for the playoffs we should go back to the lines of the last month as long as Mule is back.

The important thing is getting Andy some rest. Andy playing the way he did during his "on" months, presents a threat to any team. Vets like Tucker, Hejduk, Foote should all get days off while we give the Stoa, Yip, Wilson some major minutes.

Sometimes I wonder what is our definition of "vets" in this team

Here is hoping that Stastny gets 2 assist tonight to break the 60 point mark! An elite [arguably top 5 - 10] playmaker in the league for years to come for sure!

We should have traded him for Kovalchuk.

Time to put both of Alberta's teams to bed.

Actually...I don't think the Oilers ever actually got out. Oh well.

I am happy with playing SJ or the Hawks in the first round. I do not want any part of Vancouver, let the Nucks and the Wings beat each other up for 7 games first.

For the first time since the start of the year that I can exhale and not worry about losing or winning a game. What I like to see tonight

- No injuries
- Svatos, Stoa, Durno to play
- I like the idea of trying Duchene with Stewart again
- Stastny with a few points
- Adam Foote to be scratched...to be rested....

He's been playing pretty good here in the last handful of games. So I'd keep him in the lineup so he doesn't go cold.
