I owe Golfmade and Seth a beer for taking an important roadtrip during a Preds game with CBJ.

In the box, feeling shame.

Sadly, I think this is going to cause a lot of deaths.

Technically a correct ruling, and I'm glad that no gag-order precedent was set.

And the best part is that I won't shed a single tear for any Phelps family members when they inevitably go too far and get themselves shot.

I agree that's is the correct ruling as I didn't see any exception to freedom of speech in the Constitution. It's sad that it's likely one of the Phelps family memebrs might get themselves shot and I'll be sadder for the individual that commits the murder and faces the death penalty.

For those of you who are familiar with np.com and pred303fan. His son Shane has given up on his MMA career and has inducted into the army as a 18 xray which is a direct induction into special forces.

First thing that came to my mind is 'Holy ****!' The second is pride.

First off, an 'atta boy' for Shane to give up potential millions for the Army.

Secondly, a 'Good on yah' to pred303fan for raising a hell of a kid.

Going to the Wild @ Preds game on Thursday, March 10th, and going to the Detroit @ Preds game on the 19th.

First Wild game and first Detroit game.

So Craddock is running for mayor of Nashvegas. Wasn't he one of the council members who were giving us grief during/after the sale of the team?

I am currently in detroit: the cesspool of America.

No wonder this city as an awful reputation. I have been all over the United States and I have never seen a city more desolate, pathetic, and more importantly the least friendly to drivers. **** this city.

Furthermore, I am with my radio broadcast team in a shady hotel full of creeps (I should've booked the hotel, learned my lesson in that regard). With no hot water I might add. The hotel promised us a cot for myself and there is no cot so I had to sleep on the floor.

**** this ******* piece of **** city. And the Joe is the most overrated arena there is. Its a tombstone to a dying city. Relatively nice, but well overpriced and not worth the cost.

Furthermore, I hope the Preds don't just beat detroit tonight. I want them to ****ing disembowel them. I want Shea ****ing Weber to obliterate Datsyuk into tiny little pieces I can scatter across this cesspool.

**** this city.

I don't just want winning tonight... I want BIWINNING!

Very interesting thread. What team combined with the Preds would be the best? The Washington one I made was dirty, but I think Pitt or Philly or Van would work out well too.

Note to all:

There is a glitch in the system that is requiring many users (including BFC and myself) to re-accept the forum rules to continue posting on the boards. In the notice it says you are being asked to do this because you have received a warning or an infraction. This is NOT the case.

If you do ever receive a warning or infraction you would receive a separate PM explaining your infraction and why you received it. As far as I'm aware there have been no warnings or infractions handed out for any posts on our board in the past week.

Should you be asked to re-accept the rules, I apologize for the inconvenience, but want to reassure you that you have not done anything wrong and ask you to please re-read and confirm that you accept the rules of the forum.

Thanks!

Some people never grow up...

Radulov received a match penalty today in his KHL league game for "cussing out a ref" and proceeded to destroy furniture in the locker room. His team will have to pay for damages.

Yeah, Puck Daddy did a piece on it back in October. It's a two-year extension. He wants to come back after the CBA is renegotiated and be a free agent, but I don't think the NHL would ever allow that to happen, so he's probably staying in Russia for the rest of his career.

It's a shame he never figured out how to behave like a professional. I can't totally blame him for taking better money to work at home, and I'm fine with the flamboyant celebration, but when things aren't going your way, you have to handle it with decorum.

I really like some of the things Brian Burke says to the press.....

"We don't run this team by consensus. I don't give a rat's ass what the consensus is." Burke stated. "I don't have justify why the coach is staying. He did it with the job he did the second half of this season. There are people who disagree, and they're confusing me with someone who cares about their opinion."
